Rhinos today are facing their deepest crisis in decades. Their slaughter is driven by the demand for rhino horn. Zoos and wildlife reserves have united to urge the public and all governments to abandon any involvement in the trade in rhino horn and take effective measures to break the illegal trade and save the rhinos. On Sunday 21st September 2014, just a day before the World Rhino Day, they burned their rhino horn stockpiles in memory of all poached rhinos or they symbolically supported an urgent appeal that any trade in rhino horn is unacceptable. Please, help us to share our message.
