Tropical forest

Green dezerts

When forests are cut down and burned, some animals die... but many more die afterwards because they have nowhere to go... and that includes humans.

Traditionally farmed land or native forests are bought up on very unfavourable terms or even confiscated.

A small number of people get rich, the rest become cheap hired labour. The poor become vulnerable and the conditions for exploitation are created.

The plantations deplete the nutrients that have been accumulating in the forest for thousands of years, the land is left without the protection of native vegetation and is washed away.

We can slow the logging and give the forest a chance!

We have eliminated all products containing palm oil from the food for humans and other animals in the safari park.
